Who are we?
Oriana Neoma (ON) is currently a small publishers founded in 2023 focused on a select number of authors (though we’re soon looking to expand) who love something different, experimental, yet emotional, and fun. We’re predominantly in fantasy and romance, but we also extend into other genres through these main two. We also hope to expand our work to reach across all age ranges in the near future.
Oriana Neoma is dedicated to creating stories with something different to them, ensuring diversity is supported and literary excellence is upheld.
What’s our goal and mission?
Oriana Neoma (ON) was founded with the simple goal of wanting stories to reach the world in as many ways as possible. Its goal is to help create, edit, and publish books (digital, physical, or audio) to the highest standards while uplifting unique and different voices the world deserves to hear.
The mission whilst creating these books, is to try and reach the target audience of these unique stories and allow them to engage in something wonderful.
Who are our target audience?
We serve a wide range of readers who are interested in compelling voices and creative narratives. We currently support our small group of authors on everything from the multiple rounds of editing to marketing and hope to soon be able to go further with this as we learn more in these fields.
What are we passionate about?
Here at Oriana Neoma, we love stories with a twist. Maybe a familiar story told from a new perspective (Romeo and Juliet in space?). Looking at women’s voices who’ve been silenced or railroaded throughout history and the modern era. Including LGBTQIA+ people and topics, and showing the reality and humanity of their situations.
Several of our authors have chosen not to include any details on skin colour in their narratives, so the reader can choose what they want their new favourite characters to look like. We hope to expand our author pool to include BIPOC authors and stories in the future once we’re more established.
